It was one of those rare times, sort of early in the morning where there was a bit of low-hanging mist in the forest. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I just wish I had had a tripod so that I could have gotten a longer exposure.

They're just about all gone here in Palm Beach County too...All the ones I used to pass on my way to school are gone :( I miss the smell. We still have plenty of swamp here though! I was thinking of making one of the pictures of the swamp my second entry, but my friends voted for two others from out of state...maybe just because they're more..."exotic" to us Floridians ;)

2009-11-19 [hanhepi]: there's an understatement. lol. god yeah, i miss the orange groves in bloom smell too. i have swamps here in nc where i live, but the plants are so different.. not a single palmetto in our swamps, and no spanish moss. it's hardly a swamp at all.
